New Username and Password Starting September 10, 2007

Adhering to the Cyber Safety policies, your Open Provision System username and password have changed. As you know, a direct access login is needed to access the provisions database. The new username and password is different from your MyUCDavis and PPS-DS login and password (that use Kerberos), and is also different from the on-line PPS system. Payroll Services has sponsored development of a new self-service utility to give Open Provision System users quick access to their username and password. The following are instructions to retrieve your username and password:

1. Log into PPS Decision Support (directly at http://payweb.ucdavis.edu/ or from the MyUCDavis portal).
2. You should see two links. Click on the "Open Provision User ID/Password" link. Your current username and password should then be displayed.

Supported browsers are Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari (Macintosh); current versions supported are the same as SIS Banner. An up-to-date listing of supported browsers with current versions is located at the IET link to the left side of this page under "Web Browsers". To use the provision system you need Java Runtime Environment (JRE) software. A link to the supported Java version and installation instructions is located at the IET link to the left side of this page under "Java Plug-In".
